The IT Crowd

This is one of the funniest series I know. It's from the UK so it's a good way to listen to British accent, since most of the series watch in Spain are American. In Spain it's known as Los Informáticos, but if you want to watch it, I do recommend you to do it in English because they play a lot with the language and if you translate it, you'll be missing half of the fun! I know it's hard to understand, but you can always donwload the subtitles.

This is the clip we watched in class, the first five minutes of the first episode. It's hilarious!

Annoying ring tones

In 2009, the actors Hugh Jackman (best known for films like Wolverine or X-Men) and Daniel Craig (aka James Bond) stopped the Broadway play they were performing when they were interrupted by a man in the audince who had forgotten to switch off his mobile phone. Check out Jackman's reaction. He was really annoyed!

“You want to get that? You want to get it? Grab it. I don’t care.”, he said the first time.

“Come on, just turn it off…Unless you’ve got a better story. You want to get up and tell your stories?”, he pleaded when the ringing persisted.

"Just get the phone", intervined the current James Bond.

The evolution of mobile phones.

Yes, the music, it IS annoying.
